Assessment Task – Skills/ conceptual focus: Significance
The British Museum are opening a new exhibition on the Crusades. Your assessment task for this enquiry is to create a booklet/leaftlet/ book/website/PowerPoint to give or show visitors and prospective visitors to which answers the following: What should everybody know about the Crusades?
Your booklet/leaflet/book/website/Powerpoint needs to include a section or page on each of the lessons we have completed. You can find the title of each lesson on your learning log. Be as creative as possible and remember to link back to the criteria as much as possible to explain why the Crusades are historically significant.
As well as the pages on each lesson you need to also have:

2. What does significance mean? How do we decide how something is significant in history?
3. A concluding page where you bring all your knowledge together and give your judgement on: Why were the Crusades significant.
